The Misty River Gallery is operated by the Misty Rivers Community Arts Council, a registered non-profit organization based in Hazelton. Our goals include promoting artists of the Upper Skeena area, the arts and culture in general, art-related projects, and programs for touring artists. The Misty Rivers Community Arts Council has been working on opening a public gallery since 2003. Our dreams were finally realized on June 27, 2009 when we hosted the Grand Opening of the Misty River Gallery. The gallery will include a gift shop, workshops, art exhibits, street theatre, and a home base for the Arts Council. We hope to see you at the Misty River Gallery in the near future. |
